Frustrating game

Sometimes the relationship between the words is not apparent, even after one has solved the clue. This is irritating.
It costs far too many points to get a clue with the result that when you get stuck, theres no real alternative to leaving the game. This makes it a last choice when Im looking for something to play.
Could be a lot more fun if it prompted with clues or made it easier to get help.
